Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robe) is a Wuyi rock tea grown in the Wuyi Mountains. It is a heavily oxidized, dark oolong tea.After brewed, the infused color is very dark brown showing that the tea is a very dark Oolong.Da Hong Pao oolong tea is famous for its unique appearance and floral fragrance, specially Wuyi rock tea taste and fragrance, which the other Oolong teas do not.
The taste is rich and smooth emitting a subtle honey fragrance aftertaste.
